Lead by Vladimir Lenin. Lenin used the Kronstadt sailors to help storm the Winter Palace where they arrested the Provisional Governmnet Ministers. These events occured in Petrograd (today Saint Petersburg). The Bolsheviks then held democratic elections in which they only came 3rd so ditched the democracy idea. They decided to implement the Dictatorship of the Proletariat and then engaged in a civil war with the Whites, who actually consisted of the same Kronstadt Sailors that helped them win the revolution (because they had wanted a more direct democracy). I'm sure if you open your history textbook, follow links to relevant websites, or even look at books in your school library, you will find plenty of information on the Russian Revolution. That is proper research - asking a random bunch of strangers for information is not.
