She speaks normal, of course, if you don't understand 100% a language, you will think that everybody speaks very, very, very fast.
He is NOT from Spain. Period. His ACCENT is not from Spain. That is all.
He speaks quite slowly and clearly, to be honest. If you were to go to Spain, Mexico, or any other country where Spanish is the native language, you'll find they mostly speak much faster, and link their words together, so you can't identify the beginnings and endings.
I know he is Mexican, very simply, because he doesn't use the THETA. He would be talking about the Metro of the "thiudad" de Mexico, instead of the "Siudad", etc.
He talks about having traveled through much of Europe.
Anyone can put anything on their profile, saying they are from anywhere...he may have been BORN on Gran Canaria, but he speaks like a Mexican.
@Naega. YOU clearly know nothing. No, they don't all have the same accent in Spain, but they all theta. Period. Yes. I DO know, as I have been there.
Dart you clearly know nothing about Spain, not everyone speaks the same accent as Madrid.
Seseo is typical of the Latin American and Canarian dialects and some dialects of central Andalusia, whereas distinción is typical of most dialects in Spain, except in much of Andalusia and the Canary Islands. Ceceo is found in some dialects of Spain, in the southernmost part of Andalusia.

@Dart, oh so because you've been there and you didn't hear a Seseo accent means nobody speaks it, you need to stop posting here because your answers are so ignorant. Not everyone says Grathias, some do say Gracias. Thanks for the thumbs down, truth hurts.
Yes Spanish seems to be spoken fast compared to English. When I speak Spanish, English speakers are all like, "Why do you talk so fast!!!?" And is guy is Spanish, he is talking about his experience in Mexico but is not Mexican. People that said he is Mexican obviously have no idea.
Yes, he is speaking faster than normal. It's part of the "effect" he is going for in his blog. Yes, languages sound faster when you are not accustomed to them, but he is speaking on the fast side.
He does sound Canarian to me.
Well, he has picked up one hell of a mexican accent!
Yes, we speak fast.
