Age limits and going to ibiza?

You know, they set age limits for reasons. And breaking the law for a month, is breaking the law.

When the authorities check on these places, to see that they are following the law, they shut down bars/clubs for breaking the law...money to reopen/pay fines, etc., is in short supply.

I wouldn't count on being allowed into 18+ bars, but there are surely some teen bars.

Well i lived in Ibiza for 3 months and i can tell you the big clubs like Amnesia, Privilege, Pacha, Space, Ushuaia are from 18. Those are the clubs where they check your whole body. But there are also small bars where you definitely can go, im not sure about buying drinks though but i look very young and in my country for years they have wanted me to show my ID to the bouncers but in Ibiza in the supermarkets nobody wanted it from me (when i was buying alcohol), so i think if you go to a small bar they will sell you some drinks. These small bars have no security or anything. They are situated in Playa D'en Bossaa, for example Murphy's, Top 21 (but the other day i saw some bouncers over there too), Tantra... You can get friends with the guys who are inviting the people inside the club and then they will give you free shots

so just buy the drinks in the supermarket, drink it before you go to the club and you'll be already be drunk that you wouldnt need to buy anything in the club. And dont go to party before 12 or 1 am because its empty before this hour.

If you are talking about going into a club to get served they will want ID but if the family is sitting in a bar or restaurant the adults can buy you a drink - last year in Majorca in a cafe/pub I saw a parent buying a beer for himself and his 2 sons who were only around 13 years old, Good Luck

If you drink under age you risk the poor bar owner who is probably just scraping a living having the place shut down.

Why do you think it is ok to break the law in Spain.

Some places may serve you but you can get locked up and the bar closed down,so why risk spending your holiday in a grotty wee soaked police cell while waiting to go to court..

Okay so me & my entire family.... aunts, cousins, parents, siblings etc are going ibiza in september. I'm 17 at the moment and i'll be like a month away from 18 when I go... however, someone thought I was 14 the other day, although I was wearing NO makeup and in my slob clothes haha.

I don't see me being a MONTH away from the legal drinking age a big issue, so the problem is... would I get served? my other cousin will be 16 at the time but she looks much older than me so I know she'll have no problem. It's so annoying.
