I'm Chinese, born and raised in London.
Lol of course there is.
Depends on what you mean by 'Chinese people' (ethnically Chinese? Chinese citizens? mainland China only or also HK, Taiwan, etc.?). Also depends on what you mean by 'in London' (living permanently, living temporarily, visiting?).
According to the latest (2011) census there were ca. 124,000 people describing their ethnicity as 'Chinese' living in London.
Approximately 40,000 who were born in China, and another 26,000 in Hong Kong.
UH??? ...Hong Kong was a BRITISH COLONY and LONDON is a world city, with the BIGGEST CHINA TOWN in Europe....Third biggest is in MANCHESTER, (SECOND is Paris..) and find people of Chinese origin ALL over every part of The UK...I recently had a "Chinese" student in a class, with one of the strongest Northern Ireland accents you will ever have heard...The OLDEST China Town however, is also in NW England, in LIVERPOOL, which was founded HUNDREDS of years ago....!! Today "British Chinese" are in the professsions etc ..NOT all in the restaurant game!!!!
Yes. There are Chinese people in every British town.
No, Chinese people's souls are forbidden from entering London and if one attempts to enter their soul is torn apart.
Yes and London is about to celebrate the Chinese New Year. You've only got one day to get your costume ready.
