None. Turkish nationality is a very special race which contains well, sh.tload of other races.
Originally Turkish people are from Central Asia but because of years of migration from one place to another and a large empire that preceeds the Republic of Turkey, I could easily say that nobody that lives in Turkey is purely Turkish. People that live in Turkey right now have European,Arabic, Persian, Greek and many other ethnicities within themselves. In Western parts you could say that many people are more likely to have European ancestors and Eastern parts its generally Middle East. It is actually a matter of geography.
Although the Turkish Government is heavily influenced by Middle East the people have more of an European inflience on them in Western Turkey. To summarize, the term Turkish does not actually define an ethnicity for me ( although many Turkish people would curse me for saying this) but actually defines a culture.
We are not european!!! You can see a blonde Turkish guy from away but when you talk to him you will notice we are no european in any effin way!!! And why should we have to be european or middle east, we are both of them and we are neither of them, we are just Turkish, Altaic people, Turanian culture

Turks are united by their native language Turkish. We influenced the middle eastern culture. Turkish cuisine, music, dance, and cloths are every where in middle east. Iran and Turkey are the only non Arab countries of middle east. Iranians are majority Persian but Azeri Turks are the second major ethnic group of Iran. Safavid and Ottoman empires were both Turkic.
