The setting is beautiful. I don't know about special children's entertainment but if you are there during the school holidays there will be plenty of families with children there
There's a good few in Scotland near Loch Lomond. Depending how far your willing to travel
Sandy balls near Fordingbridge is very popular with families. It's in the New Forest. It's not far to Bournemouth.
