Best holiday place for family with young children?

Posted at: 2015-06-30
I have two children aged one and two & a half. I am looking for an ideal holiday for my family. We live in London, uk, so we don't want the flight to be too long as they are really young, but looking for a hot family holiday. Also my husband likes high class things so I am looking for a very good hotel also. Any ideas please?

C'mon! She meant a warm place that has beaches, pools and so on. Dubai is the best place. Why? Because it's 'hot' over there, there are beautiful beaches, beautiful hotels, best water and theme parks, largest shopping centre in the world, tallest building, good deserts to do some activities there, Ski Dubai, best restaurants and so on. The problem is that it isn't cheap. Suggestion: Don't stay over 2 weeks there. A week is more than enough I'd say.

If you have such young children, choosing a 'hot' place, if you mean temperature-wise, would be foolish. Small children get overheated, irritable, tired and often very ill in hot weather.

If you mean 'hot' as in really nice, the south of France is great most of the year, or southern Spain as long as it's not in mid-summer.

Look through some holiday tour companies (like Thomsons or Virgin) brochures (the have them online) and decide as a family which you like the look of.

But do go out of season, or to somewhere warm rather than hot!

You should try Spain, France or Portugal these places aren't too hot if you go in the spring or autumn and it also doesn't take long to fly there. It would take no more than 3 hours to fly to the south of Spain or Portugal.

Taking young children to a hot place? do you not have any common sense?

Chldren of that age don't care where you go. They won't even remember it in a few year's time. If you want heat, just look for the nearest destination to the south.

Bournemouth or Weymouth. a nice easy journey by train from London at times that suit you. Both have nice sandy beaches, good hotels and plenty to do

A child friendly cruise.

If your husband likes high class things and is nice and loaded, you should take yourself and the kids off on a cruise.
