Best lads holiday places?

According to me the lakes, beaches, parks and Island are the best lads holiday places. You can easily enjoy your holidays with a lot of activities and make your holidays memorable. You know beaches are one of the major parts during holidays. I believe it is the best place for enjoyment.

Head for Cyprus. . . .head for Ayia Napa - see map

Now for the hot nights out on the town in Ayia Napa

Tip - if you want beer while in Cyprus - always ask for the local brew Keo (that's key-oh).

Otherwise drink whatever you fancy. Beware of Ouzo - yes very nice but also very strong.

Go with a reputable travel agent - Thomas Cook or Thomson -why?

Let me relate an something that my partner and moi had while on holiday at Sunny Beach in Bulgaria a couple of years back. There was a fire at our hotel and everyone got evacuated. Our holiday rep from Thomas Cook and others from Thomson were first on the scene - they got us to another hotel in less than half an hour by taxi. A lot of people were stuck outside the hotel - one bloke I spoke to briefly told me he had come with his mates - booked online and then easyjet but no agent. I don't know what happened to him or his mates my guess is they had to sleep on the beach or something.

Other bit of advice - get yourself plenty of holiday insurance including lots of medical cover. Also get all the usual holiday vaccinations from your doctor at least eight weeks before you go.

Finally - never ever drink the local water - no matter how 'clean' they say it is. Drink bottled water or else do what we do and take a travel kettle and boil water for tea in that etc.

I know you'll have a great time in Aye Napa - but, when to go? Probably high season, July-August is best. But do check it out first.

If you don't want a hotel you can do self catering but then you've got to buy food and cook it and blah etc.

Far better to stay at an hotel even a cheapie one because at least you'll be able to stuff your face at the breakfast buffet - which most people do.

We are now beyond redemption, on what we call the home run, in our 70s but don't let it put you off. We've been there and done that and are now growing old disgracefully.

This is more our scene these days.

Cab Calloway is no longer with us - up there in the big Jazz Club place but his legacy lives on.

Greece is a lovely country, but if you want some fun for lads then Spain is far better.

We just got back from Mykonos & Santorini and am absolutely in LOVE with those Islands.

Basically, out of Malia, magaluf, kos, ayia napa, faleraki, Zante, which is the best place to go? Give details why. Also which are the cheaper ones, thanks
