Los mejores lugares para estar con amigos son:
-Santander, good hotels, a casino, and a beautiful palace.
-Barcelona,there is La Sagrada Familia (IN CONSTRUCTION), and a lot of culture.
-Madrid, there is the museo del Prado.
-A Coru?a, I think that is the best city of Spain.
-Bilbao, there is the Guggengein, an artist museum.
-Valencia, it is "la ciudad de las artes y las ciencias" there are a lot of museus.
You really aren't terribly specific.
If cost is such an issue, keep saving for another year, and go next year, so you can actually afford to go.
For history/culture - Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Granada are among the best.
Night life, you'll find pretty much anywhere.
You don't want too much built-up-tourism, stay away from the Costa del Sol and anyplace you hear advertised...beach: of the above, only Barcelona has beach, but if you're really picky, it's not a natural one. I was told they imported the sand from the Sahara for the Olympics, and before that, there was no swimming there. (I'm not terribly picky, and loved it).
There are a number of towns in the area that are similar, and probably have better (more natural) beaches, and you can get to museums/culture.
Benidorm babe.. Lived there for 3 yrs lovely place.. great nightlife still go there in the summer every year for a month.. wouldnt go anywhere else people r so lovely and its on the coastline.. I strongly reccomend it love.. Let me know how u get on x
Barcelona's good, got all your requirements. Won't be many tourists there in October
barcelona. hands down
We're interested in going around October time (so we would like somewhere still quite warm). Three of us would be 17 and one of us 18. I guess I'd like a mixture of things to do, beach, night life but also cultural things, museums etc. Also i don't want somewhere really touristy, you know where you wouldn't even know you were in Spain, as I'm keen on practicing my Spanish. Also cost is an issue, we're on a pretty tight budget! We're not overly fussy about accommodation, as long as its clean and close enough to the beach and town/city centre!
Thanks, any help appreciated :)
