I've heard that Northerners are generally friendlier than Southerners. Is that true? I'd like to live in Liverpool.
LIVERPOOL and nearby Manchester are fantastic cities to live in and BOTH have old long established ITALIAN communities by the way!!!
Okay well in both the north and south your going to come across nice people and not so nice people. Just because somebody lives up north does not make them friendlier.
The south, particularly London has many job opportunities, (Slightly) better weather and in my personal opinion, more to see and do. Liverpool is great though, there is a lot of history there, but like any other place, keep to the good parts of it haha :)
I would say housing is more expensive in the more southern, central price of England like Oxford, Reading, London, places like that pretty much, also surrounding areas are very pretty and nice to live.
Cornwall is so much fun, some places are better than others and housing prices can vary quite a lot. But you have the beach which is fun.
There is more than England my friend. Scotland is a lovely place to live :)
Consider where you can get a job - and see if you can understand the Liverpudlian accent!
I live in Liverpool and we enjoy friendly people so welcome.
why not Edinburgh?
