Hi I am going to Denmark in about a month and want to learn some danish to be conversational with my friends when I get there. I have started using Duolingo so I know the basic greetings like Hej, Jeg hedder og hvordan har du det, but want to learn more so if you have any suggestions or other resources that could be great!

You're not going to learn to have entire conversations in a month, and you certainly won't learn to pronounce it correctly for anyone to understand you. Written and spoken danish are very different, and you HAVE to be able to say it right. Many aren't use to danish spoken in an accent, so that makes understanding you that much more complicated. The best thing you can do is to have your friends teach you things. You will learn faster, and learn to say it right. You can go to news sites in denmark and read and look up some words.

You have left it too late. It will take a lot longer than a month to become conversational.
