Yes, I work in tourism and see people from all over the world. Poles are quite easy to spot, especially the men who do tend to be quite beefy, round headed. I can tell Germans from most British people too (a small amount of English people do look Germanic as you might expect but there is a 'look' especially in the women that is different.) I can also often spot Scandinavians and Italians and southern Spanish. Northern Spain not quite so much,some look like could well be from the celtic fringe, and the French of the northern coasts are probably the most similar in phenotype to the Brits, with the same sort of variety. . Belgian and the not hugely tall Dutch people can be very like Brits as well.
I live in a town in Eastern England with one of the highest densities of East Europeans - although Lithuanians probably outnumber Poles. I've also recently visited Poland.
I think people here are too confident. Many of the features are not hereditary traits, but are cultural - different dress, hairstyle, posture, diet, body adornment, etc.
With this in mind, based on a mixture of culture and biology, I'd give myself a 80% to 90% chance of correctly ascertaining who was who. If I was to base it on hereditary biology alone, then much lower. Although there are clearly "Slavic" features, there are so many exceptions as to make it useless as a guide.

I'm pretty confident I could identify the Poles. I went to school in Chiswick, London in the 70s where there was a huge Polish community. There were a lot of Polish guys in my school. They had a "look",
Yes, there are a lot of very fit looking Polish girls about, but most of their boyfriends look like chimpanzees. So yes, I could probably. Also a lot of the British people are fatter these days.

Yes very confident - the British are northern Europeans and the Poles are eastern Europeans. Plenty of differences in appearance. Among the British there are many Africans and Asians, this is not so with the Poles.
