To all of you, I know Ireland and UK are not the same thing. I am just referring to the damn plugs as British as it's what they use in Britain too!
You can buy Continental-UK adaptors at the airports of departure or arrival, or in almost any larger shop in Dublin that sells travel accessories. If you can find a branch of Boots then you should be ok. They're not expensive so there is no real benefit in avoiding the airport shops.

Dublin is the Republic of Ireland, it is not Britain.... you can get a adapter at any airport or any chemist/supermarket once you arrive in the republic
