Budget/recommendations for 2 month Europe trip?

Posted at: 2015-06-30
Hi, I am planning a 2 month trip around Europe summer 2015 with my cousin. We are 19 and college students so we are definitely trying to budget. I know this is a broad question, but around how much will our trip be per person daily/ entire travel. We don't mind staying in hostels and we don't plan to spend too much money for luxury. So our main concern is transportation, food, and such. Here is a list of places we would like to visit:

London- The city and all the sights (also more time to enjoy & get vibe in case of future moving plans)

Amsterdam

France- Paris, Disneyland, all the main attractions

Italy- Rome, Florence, Venice, Pompeii, Naples, Sicily, Milan

Greece- Athens, recommended beach areas

Spain- Basque country & recommended areas

Prague- optional

Ireland- optional

We heard it is very easy to travel around Europe so any suggestions on cheap/safe ways to travel (naming to and from would be great as well). Also suggestions on how long each visit should be, I would like to enjoy the experience there and not plan too much on day to day.

I'd also appreciate any information on past experiences and your opinions on the best and most cost efficient ways to travel around Europe. No place is set and stone so cut and add suggestions are welcome. We just mainly want to travel and enjoy our stay in the most cost efficient way possible.

Thanks for answering :) please don't hold back on any suggestions and details of past experience (including cost)

Don't bother with Disneyland in France. You'll be surrounded by hordes of screaming children and their harassed parents.

In any case, you're hoping to fit a lot of places in two months on that list. I notice you have a lot of places in Italy, and while I can't blame you as I've been to Italy myself and know it's well worth it, you do need to consider that it's VERY hot there in July and August and that many local businesses close down for their annual holiday in August (but not tourist ones obviously). May and June and September are the best times to visit Mediterranean countries, in my opinion.

London is NOT cheap, so you can expect to spend at least
