Can I be refused travel on these grounds?

I have a passport with 7 years left until expiry, some people say it looks nothing like me at all and a few say they can tell it's me.

I am going to be flying with other ID (provisional driving licence) with a more up to date picture. Will the reject me if they think it's not me or will they ask other forms of ID or other information people won't know about me?

Also they mention something about facial recognition so maybe that will keep me safe, I had the picture took at 18 and I am now 22.

You could be refused, a passport photo needs to look like you and so you may need to update the photo

My passport was accepted. The picture was 10 years old and I now wear glasses and have cut my hair.

We don't change all that much.

you are unlikely to have changed that much in 3-4 years, should be fine.

If they use the Bio-data, it will pass

it is based on the ratios and measurements between nose, eyes and mouth etc.
