WHY THOUGH? all of the major supermarkets, (Consum, Carrefoure, Mercadonna etc) all have fresh and pre packed meat with the same quality as you have in the U>K>. same kind of set-up. if you want a more expensive kind of cut then you pay more for it.
It is against something to do with the health and safety folks in the UK/EU, but years ago we brought just about anything we wanted but times change! I can recall my mum renting a small house out, an elderly couple came over by car, the boot was full of stuff........................right down to SACK OF POTATOES AND A SACK OF ONIONS!!! Talk about being gobsmacked..............but it takes all sorts.
But seriously there is no need to risk bringing meat here, Carrefour and many other supermarkets sell some of the finest cuts you can buy, even local butchers cater for Muslims, and other religious types who want special meat.
Only from other EU countries, but why, Spanish meat is the finest I've ever had!!
Depends where from.
Non EU meat could end you in jail. Keep the receipt.
But why bother? You can actually buy good meat in Spain.
If you are in the UK, then yes. If you are travelling from outside Europe, then no.
