Well they don't come much better than Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia and the second largest city in Spain. It is the 4th most visited city in Europe and in the top 20 of the world's most visited cities. Barcelona caters for all tastes and has an abundance of everything a tourist looks for....museums, architecture, shops, restaurants, beaches, street entertainment, nightlife etc.

Probably Salou. By the sea, has a theme park. But is a tiny place in comparison (pop 27, 000).
The best, and only big city in Catalonia is Barcelona.
