Cheap hotel in Brighton under 17!!?

Posted at: 2015-06-30
Right, so I don't want answers that give me stick about this but, it's almost time for my 16th birthday! And my boyfriend of 2 years and I have got to the point in our relationship where we want to engage in sexual intercorse. DONT WORRY WE WILL USE ALL NESSASSARY PROTECTION!! But it will be our prom in June and I would quite like to do it on that night because it would be so special! So I need a motel/hotel that would let 16 year old book and pay with cash, IN BRIGHTON! It would be really helpful! Thanks!! Ps I'm heavenly dyslexic so please mind my spelling and grammar.

No "real" hotels rent rooms to anyone under 18, most require you to be 21.

Hope this works out for you, do be safe. have a Great Prom.

The reason hotels generally only allow over 18s to book is that over 18s are adults, and therefore legally responsible. At 16, you are legally a child, and therefore cannot be held responsible should you for example trash the room.

If your boyfriend is 2 years older, and thus 18, can he not book the room?

Hotels will not rent to anyone under the age of 18. You are still legally a minor not an Adult.
