So I'm from England and me and my friends planned to travel around Europe, we decided to visit few countries like, Netherlands,Germany,Belgium and perhaps France too.
May I know what are the cheap bus or train services available that we can use to travel from one country to another.
Thanks in advance :)
Cheapest but only few options each day, coach. Eurolines is the best known but there are others as well. Google bus or coach and the two cities you want to travel between and they should pop up.
Within each of the countries you mention you will find very few or no coaches, they are mostly available for cross border travel.
Trains give more travel options and when you book long distance travels a few months before travel it can be almost as cheap. When more tickets are sold the prices will go up, but even a few days before travel you can sometimes still find good deals on the ticket sites.
An other option in InterRail, which is good when you travel often and do relative long distances, but if you travel only even two or three days and short hops when you do, it is likely much more expensive than buying tickets. Also when you need to buy reservations on many of the fast trains.
Trains are often quite cheap when you do short distances.
Hey there, you should also consider cheap airlines like Ryanair, EasyJet, Wizzair... believe it or not, it sometimes is cheaper to fly instead of taking the train. Paris, London, Brussels and Amsterdam are also connected with Eurostar trains - it is actually a very pleasant way to travel between these cities.
Last Trip London to Brussels by train and Hired a small car Most of Germany Belgium and the Netherlands in Flat
Take a ship across and then I would say train is your best bet. You should visit Italy too if you can! Have fun and safe travels
