Can someone tell me what's the cheapest way to make phone calls from Spanish mobile (Vodafone) to UK landline or mobile (either).

skype might be the cheapest option
You can buy a phone card for 6 euros, they last for ages, think its 800 minutes call time, or use within 40 days of the first call, I use one on my home phone I have connection via Vodafone for my ADSL line, I get free local calls, (most local calls are free in Spain anyway), but making calls outside Spain is very expensive, so the card helps, I only but possibly 2 a year, when we have relatives over, but if you are here on holiday one should be enough or you can use one of the call centres, we have many in Spain, you just walk in make the call pay up after, it still depends on how much you chat!
Making calls mobile to mobile can cost a bomb, its best to use a call centre or the card!
There is no cheap way to phone from any mobile in Spain to UK and it will cost around ￡5 per minute, the cheapest way is from a phone box after 9pm and it will cost around 1euro. If you phone mobile to mobile it will also cost the person you are calling the same amount of money as you, Good Luck
If you both have Skype. This is an option.
