If you are coming into the UK from another EU country then there is basically no limit. However if you try to bring in 800 cigs or more then Customs and Excise will start to get a bit suspicious...it used to be 3200 but this was changed in October 2011

As both Spain and the UK are EC members there is no limit, provided they are for your own use. Expect hastle from the customs boys if you have more than 3200 though.

Its far more than 200/person

From mainland Spain and Majorca you can bring back 3,200 equals 16 cartons

we go every few months

we also have a few loose packets in hand luggage

it should be 0

but why dont you get as many as you can, also why not get some drugs too. You could just save yourself the time and kill yourself in spain instead.

also do open packets in a carry on handbag count towards the limit??
