Could Britain survive outside the Eu?

I think it will be bankrupt within a year! Not saying this because I'm German, but.. Just a prediction dictated by common sense. Look at the numbers.. It will cost 4000euros each briton.

No of course we could not. The reason so many international companies have built car and other factories here is because they can export directly to the rest of Europe. Were we to leave they would too. EU countries make up 50% of the market for our other goods. If we left they would create import tariffs for them and the sales would cease. After leaving the EU the logical next step would be to depart from the jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights which safeguards our few remaining civil rights and freedom. Public opinion in this country has been hopelessly influenced by the rhetoric of Tory MPs and newspapers like the Daily Mail and those owned by Rupert Murdoch. Our fears should be about the influence of America on the U.K. with everything from the new Transatlantic Trade Agreement which seeks to prevent us from exercising any sort of control or safeguards against oil and fracking companies, to the incidence of fast food junk restaurants on every corner of every British city gradually ruining the health of British people

Yes we did far better trading with the Commonwealth Australia and NZ had better Dairy, beef and lamb and cheaper

if the UK leaves the EU they can Buy from all the Commonwealth for Cheaper and the Commonwealth wont tell the UK what to do or charge 13 Billion Euros for membership every year

within 12 Months the People Of the UK would be able to eat meat more than once a Fortnight

I think leaving the EU would be political and economic suicide and would see this country on its knees in a couple of years. We may be net contributors but we also get loads back in unseen income from the EU which we would lose due to trade barriers and loss of harmonised regulation

well we'll find out soon when we vote out of the EU in the up coming referendum.

Yes, of course the UK would survive! But would the UK be better staying in? YES, naturally.

We managed before for centuries. The EU is bleeding us dry, and for what?

If you look at the numbers you will see that it currently costs us £11.3 billion (over 15 Billion Euros) a year to be a member of your Franco-German club.

Our trade with europe is declining. We don't need you and your ludicrous laws.

Nonsense. The EU is a leech on the European system run by Germans

ha ha ha ha ha. YES. (We are net contributors. Guess how many other countries out of the current 27 are?)

NO...BETTER together....
