Croatia, Greece, or Portugal?

Posted at: 2015-06-30
So a couple of friend's and I (ages18-19) have decided to travel this May and have narrowed our choices down to these three countries. Notice they all have beaches ;) We want to go somewhere that is fun for young people, but also has a rich culture and history. I just wanted to know which one you would recommend going to and possibly a pros and cons list for each. Thanks in advance!!!!

1. Portugal

2. Greece

3. Croatia

Portugal would be my choice. Very beautuful and has very nice people. Greece has many many islands to pick from. Croatia has few nice beaches, is overcrowded and overpriced for what they offer, most beaches are rocky or concrete.

Try Portugal or Greece they are 1000 times better than croatia Greece for sure also the place has and the exotic beaches and mountains similar to that of Switzerland greece is just a perfect place fir every taste and the Greek women are much better looking than Portuguese or Croatian ones

Portugal.

If you want something less crowded and not yet ruined by mass tourism, less clichéd, something off the beaten track, yet pittoresque, historical, but still modern enough for tourists to visit, then Croatia is definitely for you.

Although these are the nice place regarding tourism point of view because there is a large number of tourist spots to visit. But personally I would like to refer you to go to Greece for fun with your friends. You can enjoy there cruising and definitely you will enjoy your experience.

Definitly Greece!

Pros-

* amazing beaches on both mainland and the islands

*places to go for young people like clubs, bars, and festivals

*rich culture in housing architectute (white wash)

* delicious food

* historical sites such as the Acropolis/ Parthenon and other ancient ruins

For the cons...

I can't really think of anything bad, except some city, ies may be crowded- but that would be found in the other countries also

~hope this helps!

Portugal or Greece but Greece has a richer culture and history.

Portugal for sure. Great food, great people, completely underrated!
