Why don't you do what most tourists do and get a few Euros before you arrive, then just take cash from the ATM's. Easy enough to do providing your debit card is either a Visa or Mastercard. Saves walking around with a wad of cash, or wondering if your card will be acceoted.

Make sure that you notify your bank of where and when you will be travelling just so they don't put a security stop on your account due to unusual activity.
