Do Scots hate the UK?
The Scots are part of the UK.
Look, just so you stop asking these questions: the British don't hate the Americans, the Scottish don't hate the Welsh, the English don't hate the Northern Irish, the Australians don't hate New Zealanders, the Germans don't hate the Canadians and the Canadians don't hate the Mexicans.
No entire nation hates another en masse - people don't think that way.
But please feel free to post another 500 variations of this question.
I am English and I lived in Scotland for more than a decade, Not once did I or my family encounter any prejudice or feel we were unwelcome or their was a hatred against England.
Something, sadly I cannot say about the previous seven years we had lived in Wales Being the main reason we moved to Scotland. As did the families of two English friends I made in Wales, who still live in Scotland today and would confirm this.
I'm Scottish and voted no, and did not vote SNP in the general election. However to most people British generally means English to most foreigners. they forget that Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are part of Britain as well. Honestly I don't care being called British because we are a United country. My great grandfather fought and died during WW2, he was part of a Scottish regiment, he was killed by the Germans at Normandy. He died for Scotland and for the United Kingdom.
