Do they sell Ghirardelli Chocolates in Russia?

Posted at: 2015-06-30
I am sending my friend in Russia a package and I wanted to include some chocolates that they don't have over there. Does anyone know if this brand is sold on Russia? Thanks:)

sending Chirardelli is a good idea (my personal preference is Intense dark 86%, yummy), but please add Hershey Kisses escpecailly if your friend have kids.

Maybe your friend can send you this new brand that shows Map of Russia in 2015. It has its current territory including Crimea as a new terriroty and potential territory of Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Alaska, Skandinavia, some Asian countries as well as Belarus and Ukraine. Costs 100 rubles or $2.75 at today' rate.

Ghirardelli chocolates are pretty much a San Francisco delight. the Company is owned by the chocolate giant, Lindt. The quality is so-so; there are far better chocolates. Lindt is available in Russia.

I have not seen it either.

in Russia they sell local Russian chocolate, European brands (Lindt, Toblerone, Nestle's products, Cadbury, Ferrero Rocher etc...)

Among American brands - Mars Incorporated products (Dove, Mars, Snickers, Milky Way, etc..), Hershey (but I have never seen their "Kisses"), Kraft Foods (MIlka).

I haven't seen it in our shops, maybe there is one in Moscow (which I still doubt). However, Ghirardelli is available in Russian online shops. Not a lot of people know the brand.
