I have never needed a tour guide.
Nope. But I do live with a tour guide so she would not like me saying that. Depends - how much time do you have? Short visits benefit from guides - even if it is only friendly locals (like me!) to point out the things most visitors miss. If you have the time you explore by yourself, if in a mad rush, tour guides make sense.
I have NEVER needed a tour guide. i travel extensively and there are always Tourist Information offices and they always have English language leaflets.
Tour guides cost a LOT of money and the vast majority of travellers read maps, read signs, get phrase books.
Yes, When you visit strange place, specially out of county then tour guide is mandatory, but i think that people should enjoy tour own their on.
I've never used a tour guide.
Not necessarily. Most people can find the well-known tourist attractions for themselves and most tour guides only take you to these places. If you want to explore the real England, do your own thing.
I think you meant to ask, "Do British people need / use a tour guide when touring Britain?"
Otherwise your question doesn't make sense.
i hardly ever use tour guides. I tend to use guidebooks such as lonely planet or do a bit of research online before-hard.
No, I am capable of using a map and a guide book.
