Yes every plane has GPS tracking, they would all be crashing into each other if they didn't and of course it is safe to fly! The only reason plane crashes are made a big deal on the news is because they happen so rarely. There are thousands of flights everyday that make it to their destinations safely, there is nothing to be worried about.
