We know Friends well and love it just as much! Just about any American series that is any good has turned up on British TV at some time or other. Try some typically American food or drink instead - something prepackaged so it is admissible through UK Customs. Fresh food is never admissible as there might be foreign bugs in it, and when supermarkets import food they have other ways of dealing with Customs to import it. Or something else typical of your local area.
It's been running for EVER in the UK. So have lots of other excellent US TV programmes, like Six Feet Under, Scrubs, The Wire, Breaking Bad, Frasier, and The Big Bang Theory.
Bring them something interesting to eat.
They've only just stopped showing Friends on a continuous loop on a channel called E4 so if you bring Friends (as good as it was) they will slit their own throats in unison.
Bring something like Blanton's Original Single Barrel whisk(e)y. The bottle looks cool. Better still - Evan Williams 23 years. Mmmm.
Jack Daniels. It's really expensive outside the U.S. Or a local product from your area. Sets of the state quarters works, too.
We have Friends on constantly on Comedy Central, but yeah they have recently stopped showing it on E4
they have had it for many years now-both on tv and in the dvd stores
