I'm a french of moroccans origin , and I travel often in europe and I really had great times in my holidays in Nederland been there a lot of times , by myself with my girlfriend or with friends and alwayas had good times and good impressions of dutch people, I talked to strangers and nobody were rude at all , one time in Amsterdam a old women after I asked for direction even walked me by or another a Sunday morning in Eindhoven I asked a guy for directions to the airport and he walked at the bus station and chat a little with me, so I don't believe dutch are racist like some eastern or souther european may be . What's the reasons for some media to say that Nederland are racist with the Marokkanse?

Hi, I have few Moroccan friends and colleagues. First of all it's the media that report negatives news about Moroccans and one politician like Geert Wilders (friend of Le Pen). Every day there is something in the news about Moroccans. Second is that statistically Moroccans are the highest with a crime records in the Netherlands. In 2013 about 65% of young Moroccans have been in contact with the police. And then the problems in Muslim-countries in the world. Because Moroccans are Muslims, and sum young Moroccans causing problems. People are very easy to say, you see Muslims always cause problems in the world and now in our country.
My Moroccans friends all of them are educated and have good jobs. But they notice the negative atmosphere against Moroccans. They say it's bad that the majority of the Morrocans do a good job, but it's ruined by the young criminal Moroccans. Even I spoke with Turkey's friends, they said, the Moroccans cause a lot of problems, even for us. Because sum Dutch people can't distinguish a Turk and a Moroccan.
Because I know sum Moroccan friends, surprisely I notice in the Moroccan community there is also sum racisme. My friends are from Nador, Tetouan, Agdz, Zagora, Agadir and Fez (so very spread out). They told me they family don't allow somebody that he/she could married with a Berber, Rif or Arab. I always thought everybody is Moroccan. The funny thing also was, they said French-Moroccans are very integrated in the French society, they feel very French. A French-Moroccan speaks more French at home in France then a Dutch-Moroccan speak Dutch in the Netherlands. I don't know if it's really true but I hear that a lot of times that on a French wedding, they speak more French instead of Moroccan or Berbers. Do French-Morrocan feel French? I asked my friend do they feel Dutch, they all say they feel Morrocans.
But answering your question: the majority of the Dutch aren't racist against Moroccans, but they are very annoyed with the young Morrocans who are causing problems.
Dutch don't hate Moroccans. Dutch hate the gangs of Moroccan teen criminals that hang out on street corners in certain neighbourhoods. And they don't like the Moroccans that have been here for 40 years and still hardly speak Dutch..
There are a few groups of young Moroccans who are less than nice. Those groups make all young Moroccans suspect in the eyes of some but not all.
If you do not live near those groups (who seem to live in a few cities) it is very likely that you do not react to young Moroccans.
Older Moroccans are hardly ever seen as dangerous and will not get that reactions from most. Although a few people will be scared by all foreigners or all men walking towards them.
People who believe what the demagogues (PVV) say hate al muslims - except the ones they know personally.
If you speak french, or even english, many won't even realise you are of moroccan descent.
They say the same about the French and about Moroccans.
