Duty free limit travelling from lanzarote to Madrid (spain)?

I'm afraid you have been given incorrect information by other contributors.

Whilst the Canary Islands are part of Spain, they have been allowed to keep their duty free status. As a result the amounts you can bring from the Canaries into both Spain and the UK are limited to just 200 cigarettes. So it makes no difference whether you fly direct to the UK or via Madrid. The allowance remains the same.....200 cigarettes or 100 Cigarillos or 50 Cigars or 250g Tobacco.

When you are travelling into the UK from another EU country, your duty free allowance is 800 cigarettes. It's when you are coming from a non-EU country that the allowance is 200 cigarettes. Lanzarote is part of Spain, therefore in the EU, so 800 cigarettes is perfectly OK.

As much as you want. But it's not duty free. Lanzarote to Madrid is effectively an internal domestic flight within Spain.

Pompal is correct and from Madrid to UK it was 3200 cigs but I believe you can now bring in as many as you want if they are the same brand and for yourself to smoke.

Pompal is right.

Im flying from Lanzarote to Madrid then on a connecting flight to manchester. I know you can only bring 200 cigarettes from lanzarote to the uk but what is the limit from lanzarote to madrid? because from madrid to the uk you can bring back 800.

Any information would be great.

Cheers
