What kind of plug converter can I purchase off of amazon for my US plugs so I can charge my phone etc.? I know theirs is completely different from ours and I wasn't sure what to buy.
You want a UK plug converter not European
as other have said Uk uses a three pin plug whilst europe uses a 2 pin plug. More importantly make sure your devices can run on 240v.
We use a three pin plug unlike the rest of Europe who use a two pin plug, our voltage is also different , I am no expert so seek expert advice on wheather your devices are suitable.
Just search on amazon.com for "UK to US adapter" in Electronics,it'll give you options for various "universal" adapters (Britain and Ireland use different plugs from the rest of Europe, so you can get adapters for "UK/EU/AU to US" (including Australian plugs too). It'll only cost you a few dollars.
It's not just the plugs that are different, the voltage is too.
Get an international one that can be used worldwide..SEVERAL places have same as UK....( Gibraltar, Ireland, Singapore, Malaysia etc etc..Even IRAQ!!)
