I've found that London has has some of the most diverse fashion I have ever seen. In London, you can wear anything as long as you feel comfortable. If you still have no idea I would suggest darker pants (black jeans, dark wash skinnies)
It varies really, everyone has their own different style. For me personaly, I would suggest skinny jeans, or normal jeans, band shirts or casual shirts and a jumper/jacket of some sort. No one is really fussy about what you wear over here
