Accent:Except the regular Athenian accent all places in Greece and all Greek tribes have different accents Cypriot accent like the Pontian one ,they are more close to ancient Greek
Looks:Every place in Greece every region the people have various looks and appearance if u see a Greek from Kavala and compare him with a Cretan u might think that they come from different countries
Food:Again the same every place/island in Greece has different food tastes
Culture:Again the same in every place differs
Religion:Orthodox Christianity like all Greeks
The main difference is in the spoken language. Both accent and vocabulary For the rest there are not major differences
The cypriot language has sounds like "ch" and "sh", etc which Greek doesn't.
I think in Cyprus they know more than one language,in Cyprus they are more tolerant and don't have that big crisis
