Well, if she's going to the GREEK part of Cyprus you'll have little chance to encounter Muslims. Stay away from the North part of the island that is Turkish, I guess.
Israel has Muslims but they're mostly Jews. And, no, no one is beheaded there.
Still, in the end of the day it doesn't seem like you understand that most Muslim people aren't out to hurt you. At least, not the ones in either nation.

The North half is (illegally) Turkish; the South part is Greek.

Turkish Cypriots are good people. When I lived there before the partition, they were much nicer than the Greek Cypriots (who hated us).
