UK is much less racist than USA. You would be thought of as an American, rather than be judged by your colour. Most of us like Americans.
Unfortunately, it's not easy to relocate to UK. You will need a visa to stay here and work.
After you've got all of your documents and enough money to live there, England is better than France, especially if you don't speak French! I would suggest to stay away from major cities and go from the south coast of England, somewhere like Devon, Kent or Cornwall.
Stay away from other parts of the UK (Scotland, Wales and NI) they are horrible! I lived in all those places so I should know!
The UK is really MUCH less racist than either France or the USA. But you'll need to be trained and experienced (in the USA) at a job on the British government's list of jobs where there is a shortage of workers in the UK. Some of these are high end stuff but others are surprisingly not: nursing, teaching math, a lot of tecchie/IT stuff.
UK is like the US: really tough to legally migrate.
Most Europeans, especially in the west, would just consider you as an American. Even before you tell us we can often tell. Most of you look quite different from actual Africans.

Many BRITISH & FRENCH citizens happen to BE BLACK....Heard of IMMIGRATION? You have little chance of settling over here .NO MORE than WE CAN IN USA. Alkso BLACKS are all over the UK and England is just ONE paret of it..IS generally BETTER in UK.

On day to day basis they are about the same as America. Meaning it shouldn't be an issue.
UK is very multi racial and generally more tolerant, but you will find it extremely difficult to get a residency visa.
