How do I move to England for school?

I am a Californian who would like to move to England and major in photography at a school, but I don't know where to start. I would appreciate some guidelines for moving abroad. Also, which school in England would you recommend?

In the UK, we don't have majors (you just study a single subject to get a degree), and you'd be looking at attending university (schools are for -18yrs)

Take a look on the UCAS website for universities and courses, plus entry requirements and tuition fees.

To get a student visa, you'll need proof you can afford it, and won't be able to access UK or US student loans or financial aid to help. Once you graduate, you go back home; there are no visas for photographers.

first thing. I suspect you are talking about higher education. In Uk we would call it University, not school.

To apply for a place in a British Univesity, you can use UCAS International. Their link will tell you everything you need to know.

There are a lot of Universities in UK. Here is a link to the legue table for youb to study. You might find that photography is part of an Art and Design degree.

School here finishes at 16. Then there is college and Universities, and we don't have majors.

It would cost your parents thousands of dollars to educate you here, and at the end of the degree you have to go home.

you are going to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars for a useless degree? can't you study useless degree locally?

School?? How old are you?
