- Located south east of its city center... at the renowned and old maritime neighbourhood of the same name. Barceloneta. There are all types of services typical to a town beach. This excellent beach has two beaches one at each end: one near the Olympic Port with Paseo Marítimo Beach and the other near the Puerto de Barcelona with San Sebastiá Beach. These beaches have a big team of patrolling lifeguards from the local police, particularly in the summer season. -
to be more exact they are located at Passeig Marítim Sitges....
The beach is close to the city center, you can go there by subway or even walking. However, the beach that you'll see in the city is not that great. I recommend you to take the Renfe trains and go to a nicer beach. There are very beautiful ones within 45 minutes by train from the city, and the train stops right at the beach.
I share some stuff about Barcelona (my hometown) at my blog http://www.josenavarronyc.com, perhaps it helps you! Have fun in Barcelona!
I agree: depending on where exactly you are in the city centre. I live in the city center (at beginning of Passeig de Gràcia) and I have 40 minuts if I go on foot to la Barceloneta (is the closest from the center). I recommend you the Bling bling club and Sala B clab (Aribau street). And close to the beach you can go to Opium Mar club and Shoko club. You also can have a look at this activity with a local DJ: http://www.trip4real.com/experience/hang...
Depending on where exactly you are in the city centre, it could be any distance between 30 minutes and 10 minutes. But it's very easy to get around Barcelona on the metro.
'm going to barcelona for a week this summer. If i stay in the city centre area, how far is the beach? If anyone lives there or has been there before, and could tell me that would be amazing thanks.
(also if you know any good clubs to reccommend feel free to add them there)
