i might be moving alone to the uk without my family... I wanna know whats it like living there before I go... How are schools there? Will i survive alone with only a part-time job? Taxes? Weather? Rules? College? Renting a room or a dorm? Are things expensive? Stuff like that... Fill me in please!!

If you intend to study in the UK you will need a student visa. To get this you need a place at an accredited university and the money int he bank for fees and tuition. You need the money up front, you cannot work your way through university. Anyway, students can only work a maximum of 20 hours a week and this is certainly not enough to live on.

US citizens can visit the UK as a tourist without a visa. However, to study or work in the UK requires a visa.

To qualify for a work visa you need advanced educational and professional qualifications plus an employer who certifies they cannot find a qualified EU citizen for the position and who will sponsor you for the visa.

Unless you have the qualifications the only realistic way for you to stay in the UK long-term is to attend university on a student visa. If you want to attend university in the UK then make contact with the offices of international students for the institutions you might want to attend.

No you are not moving to the UK without your family. You will not be given a visa.

You would pay full international tuition fees and get no assistance with any expenses. Before getting a student visa you have to be sponsored by an educational facility who WILL check that you have the fionancial resources to do this.

You need to be more specific. Economics and conditions are different in different parts of the UK. Do you want to live in London or in Kent? They are very different. Do you want to go to university in Scotland or in England? They are very different. Some areas of the UK are much more expensive. Some areas have a higher crime rate. The weather in the north and in the south is different. When you ask a question like this, you need to be as specific as possible.

Moving from where? Also really depends on where you are thinking of living. As an EU national you can move, if not then you can't.

If you are arriving as a student, the working p/t will be minimum wage and will "help" towards living costs, it will not pay Uni fees and you need to ask student services for their student landlord list.

Cost of living is very expensive, tax according to what you earn ( minimum wage p/t work, you won't be paying tax, but you will pay NI)

here is a way.
