Spain has a lot of latin americans that live and work perfectly fine in Spain.... and spaniards watch mexican telenovelas, listen to latin american musicians and love latin american food and going to Cuba or Mexico for holidays....
Of course because of being part of a similar cultural group and all ex-members of the spanish empire, there are some tensions. I am sure you have britons that dislike America and Americans who dislike Britain, and I am sure you know about Texans who hate New Yorkers.
Well, those tensions are also normal within spanish-speaking countries... I would not call that racism....
Im gonna make this very simple. You got the haters from Spain and mexico who don't have nothing better to do but praise their colture of origin. Then you got the Spanish and Mexicans who embrace both coltures do to their long history together. End of story.
I'm not Spanish and I hate Mexicans. Here's why:
1. They behave like they're "entitled" to everything. "once upon a time lonnnng ago, California was ours!" Yea, OK pal.
2. They want respect, but rarely give it.
3. Smile to your face, **** talk you in their language as you walk away.
4. They have different values when it comes to age of consent. Hide your 12 year olds!
5. Gangs.
6. Drugs.
7. Won't learn to speak English because they think Americans should all speak Spanish.
8. No sense of urgency with anything. This makes them unemployable for anything other than manual labor.
9. Sex offender registry. Check it. It's mainly old white dudes and Mexicans of all ages.
10. Are breeding their way out of Mexico. If they get here illegally, but pop out a few kids in the meantime, those kids are LEGAL CITIZENS of the US. Simple plan...get to the US, have 15 kids, live off the system of taxpayers (ME AND YOU) because America is too stupid to legislate against this. Also, we have bleeding heart liberals in positions of power who are Mexican and they love the overbreeding going on. They see it as "taking back their country".
11. They're ******* slobs and have no regard for where they live, eat, sleep, work, you name it.
12. They routinely exploit the child tax credit offered by the IRS to the effect of $50,000 per household each tax year (that's right, Paco down the street makes more than you per year by soaking up money from the tax credit by claiming kids that aren't even his). This has been going on since 1996. They claim children who don't even live with them on their returns (when they actually manage to file) along with their 67 nieces and nephews that live in Guadalajara. Cha ching!
13. Rude. They'll bump into you at the store and blindly look at you like you shouldn't be standing there. Their kids are loud, generally obese and mildly retarded. They have a funny tendency to walk into other people like they're not even there. They generally lack any kind of awareness or regard for anyone but themselves.
14. They dig through trash looking for social security numbers to steal. I spend an hour a week shredding bills and other documents.
I've worked, gone to school, and am friends with many people of other races and have never seen any of the behavior you see from Mexicans.
Of course not all Mexicans behave like the above, but I can say that the majority do. I see it every day.
The real threat isn't the middle east, it's our nearest neighbor to the south/southwest.
If anyone objects to anything I've written here, come live in CA for a few years and see if your heart still bleeds for these scumbags.
I have know idea, Im hispanic. I do know that the spanish people ended up envading the Incas, Aztecs, Mayas and many other civilations taking all of their gold and my profesor said that all the gold that the spanish have should be taking back to their original home. I guess seen that is one thing that might get them mad, but other then that idk i like everyone no race issue with me(:

It's more the other way around; MOST Latinos hate Spaniards ! I live in Texas, and I have lived in Spain ( 4 yrs Rota, Spain ) ! I have many Mexican friends !
