Duty Free does not apply to Spain or any other country in the European Union.
You can bring back as much tobacco and alcohol as you like providing that it's for your own personal consumption. The actual quantity depends very much on the discretion of the customs officer who may stop you. In most cases you won't see a customs man if you are travelling within the EU.
If you're flying then a suitcase full of faggs will probably not be a customs problem, but the weight may cost you excess baggage charge by the airline. If you're travelling overland then a Transit van load will be considered to be a problem but half a car boot won't be.
3 kg per adult, within the EU.
The "1kg" thing is really a limit by which anyone carrying more may come under scrutiny from the authorities. However, if you can prove that you have paid the tax at source and it is not for profit or resale you should be fine with 3kg

There hasn't been any duty free fags or booze from the EU for years. As long as tax is paid in Spain you're fine. You can bring back 1KG.
No such thing as duty free within the EU
1 kg it was 3 kg until the beginning of this year...........@ Tumbit clicked link and it clearly say's 1kg anymore and you will be asked question's so the limit is 1kg and anymore than that you risk losing it all.............
