How to find a job in Costa del Sol?

Just keep puting CVs out there... it really is the only way

Think very carefully about what you are planning. Spain has unemployment figures of 26% and in the "under 25" age group the figure is over 50% without work. No matter how strong your intentions are you have to be realistic and accept that finding employment will be very, very difficult, maybe impossible. It would be a shame to use up your hard earned savings chasing, what could turn out to be, a lost cause.

By all means send off your details to the likes of MedPlaya hotels (who do have a few employees from the UK in their reception positions) but don't expect favourable replies in the current climate.

The best way is to go to Spain and seek them there, its difficult to get a job from abroad. But you can of course try a job seeking site like this: http://www.megafon.net/en/index.html

No hay trabajo.

I am moving to Costa del sol in may and was wondering how is the best way to go about finding a job? Not too particular what type.

I have saved for a long time and have enough to survive about 6 months without work but I am keep to get stuck in straight away with work.

I am fluent in both spanish and english. 18.

I was thinking about just finding out the emails of the big hotel chains in the area and just emailing them my CV even if they havent yet advertised a job.

Thanks

:)
