Not yet. Plus, this isn't the 1960s. Russia is far weaker than during the Cold War, and America is far stronger. All those satellite states that Moscow used to have now have switched sides and are firmly in the pro-Western camp. Russia is bereft of meaningful military allies. Plus, U.S. technology since the Internet Era has advanced to the point where America could block and shot down a Russian nuclear missile with ease.

If it is proven Russian separatists shot down Malaysian plane, there will be real sanctions, and not from only US and EU.
Banking elite, which rapes American, Russian and many other nations, obviously needs another war to save its green paper scraps. Does the US wants/needs a war? - I doubt it. Europeans immigrated to America centuries ago in the hope they'll be free from ziofascist bankers (who raped Europe back then) and their yoke... but those parasites came there, too, imposed FED cabal system, screwed education and health care, brainwashed people into thinking they need war... they don't. They need freedom.
