i don′t want to put you off but you deserve to hear the truth. there is a massive recession in Spain and so far, there is no light at the end of the tunel. grass is not always greener on the other side. the weather is great but life is hard here. good luck
Like you said: Probably any kind of job is hard to find these days in Spain. Having said that, contacts and connections go a long way (meaning: having relatives, friends or other people help you get a job. English is not my native language).
There are jobs in international schools, assistants in the kindergarten/ baby department etc. Have a look for places that are hiring in job related magazines and http://www.tes.co.uk/nursery-teaching-jo...
google, " English nursery school(s) in Spain".
good luck!
It might not be easy, but it is not impossible.
You can look for work here:

The fact you are native english speaker is an advantage, but you need to speak spanish.
Anyway remember that in latin countries the very first thing is to have connections ("to have connections" in spanish: "tener palanca").
I'm 18 and I'm about 2 months away from being a qualified nursery nurse. I live in Scotland, but due to problems I need to move out my city.
A lot of my family live in Spain, and I know I'm young but my family have told me I can live with them until I get on my feet over in Spain. But, I know it's really hard to get a job over there right now, but a girl at my work mentioned that it's really easy to get into Childcare over there, especially an English one.
Is this true?
