I'm going to Fuerteventura at the end of April and have been told that it is very windy there.

So my question is, is it really very windy and is the wind going to be cold?

It has a nice balmy breeze at times which is really a great help. We were in Corralejo in March/April last year and had the best time. We sat on our terrace, we walked to the beach, we sunbathed, did bird watching and at no time was it ever cold. We came back with a fabulous tan.

Often, but not always, very windy on open beaches. This whips up the sand causing it to get in everything and everywhere. Wind breaks and "stone nests" take the force out of it, but still some gets through. It won't be cold, though. Not much of a problem on sheltered beaches and poolside.

It is always windy but warm but not much to do there but great for a relaxing holiday in the sun, Good Luck
