Iceland is a great family vacation destination! There are a ton of things to do and is absolutely beautiful. If you and your family are into nature and adventure, then it's definitely the trip for you. I went with a few friends so we tried to do as many adventurous excursions as we could but there were almost always families around. We rented a car to go around on our own but we also signed up for a few tours around the island. For a family I'd suggest any of the golden circle tours- https://guidetoiceland.is/book-trips-hol... The blue lagoon is another very popular family spot that we loved! But like I said, there are still so many things to do that a few of you who are more into hiking and things like that could always go off and do some different excursions.
Yes! Best way to travel around Iceland is to rent a car. If you're up to that, it's gonna be incredible.
Very good, if you want to experience the wonders of nature caused by volcanic activity. Not for beaches, shopping, historical buildings etc.
Scenery is second to none, geysers, volcanoes, mud pools, ground heated pools, brilliant experience
yes, with gezas and volcanoes, it will make the holiday of a lifetime
Only one thing to say; Reykjavik's thermal natural baths:):):)))))
