We support the democratically elected governments, and we're against the coups. And, we're not like the Egyptian coup supporters who harrassed and killed peaceful demonstrators in Egypt. Turkey isn't like the backward Egypt whose courts sentenced hundreds of protestors to death.
Istanbul is safe for any kind of foreigners, longest you don't disrespect cultural values in Turkey.
As a turkish person i can say that Of course it is. Forget the politics, there are lot of atheist and etc people around here. No one cares and no one really asks. I see a lot of foreigners and their only problem is that their language is unknown by the people around here. Other than that i see no complain.
ofc its safe. our tourist coming from all non muslim countrys. we dont have problem with them and we like too see them in our country. i mean western people. and our goverments have problem only with S?S? not egyptian people. btw i dont like erdo?an %50 people not support him and %50-60 people not hate sisi too. as an turkish i like too sisi much than erdo?an.
