London is HUGE so any answer could be true for some part of it. On the whole, the west of London is not a bad place to be. I've always lived there. It depends on exactly where.
Do you know what area you will be in? The name of the suburb will really help. I can give a much better answer if I know.
My experience says London is the world’s top level busy street and expensive also. But there also some place exists where you may live. However I have going to London several time and each time I have to booking advance hotel and parking space via online as arunparking.co.uk for getting airport service in cheap
Mostly, yes.
London is a vast conurbation. It has some really lovely areas. It also has some grotty areas. Nice neighbourhoods can be adjacent to bad ones. The mixture is scattered all over, including West London.
My recent experience is London is becoming more paranoid and less friendly mostly due to employment conditions (and, of course, unemployment conditions). Weird atmospheres in some locations. Better to live in another city and visit London when necessary.
None of you obviously live in Newham, or you would know London is not a safe place.

How "Nice" ANY-Place is, depends as Much as Ones Attitude & Frame of Mind- than the Location Itself . So go There with an Open Mind & keen Sense of Adventure, & it could end up being a very Rewarding "Move"- Indeed ! :)
You'll have to be more specific because it is very varied, although it is more famous for being nice thanks to areas like Kensington, Chelsea, Fulham or Chiswick. But for how lovely these areas are you have areas like North Kensington, Shepherds Bush, Acton or West Drayton which are rough.
