Beaches are stunning and nice and clean.
Yes there are shops, but the main shopping is in Palma and buses are every half hour next to the son matias hotel and only approx 5 euros return it takes 20 mins on the bus.Well worth a visit fantastic shopping and they even have a C&A.
The nightlife is within a 5min walk.
I love the hotel sol trinidad, santa lucia, son matias and marina torrenova.and hawii.(also has apartments)
Food is good but i especially recommend you go to the chinese restaurant in palma nova called happy palace fantastic.there is a macdonalds and burger king and pizza hut and loads of other kebab places ect.....
Yesi would recomment for a first holiday.Great nightclubs, my faves are chaplins and revolution but there are loads. Crusoes bar on the beach front are fantastic cocktails and they serve lager in ice cold mugs from the fridge!
Palma Nova is just an extension of Magaluf it is quieter for mature people not great nightlife but Magaluf is a two minute walkaway
Yeah palmas great, it's a beautiful city, great food, clean, safe, and classy. not like that sh*t hole magaluf, but it's got good travel connections to nightlife, it's got it's own nightlife, but if you want magaluf then you'll have to take a 10 min bus for that sort of nightlife.
Yes it is OK. It is where locals live , so is quieter at night than nearby Magaluf. There are regular buses into Palma and Puerto Portals is just along the road. Good beach.
Capuchinos used to be nice.
Me and my friends (18yearsold) want to go to somewhere with a good nightlife but not right in the centre of the nightlife, the travel agent recommended Palma nova as its not in magaluf. So I want too know:
Is it safe?
Is it a nice place (clean?beaches?)
Are there places to shop?
How far a walk is it to the nightlife?
Any hotels to recommend?
Cheap (food?going out?)
Good for a first holiday?
