But yes, Turkey is a wonderful place to visit, especially Istanbul and anywhere on the coast. And if you're into history and antiquities, there's so much to see you'll never want to come back. And since you already like the food and the people, you'll get along famously! ;-)
PS: Can't help but point out that the beginning of your sentence correctly constructed would be 'My friends and I...', not 'Me and my friends...'. Good way to know is to imagine that you're just going on your own without your friends, in which case you would say 'I am thinking', not 'Me am thinking'.
Just came back from Turkey for a week. I really enjoyed it it's got nice people and touristic attractions. However the people are not good with dealing with foreigners as they don't speak any English, and that shopping isn't amazing. The food is pretty tasty although I got really bad food poisning from a "doner" I ate there, other than that it's cool
It's a very popular holiday destination, so the answer would be yes. But please do read up on how to dress in Turkey, it will save you a lot of hassle when you're actually there.
